“The Last Supper”

It is 12:43 AM and it is now April 17 and I am looking at my bed knowing that I need to go there and sleep, but when I wake I will be focused on heading to Charles de Gaulle airport to get on that Air France plane and leave this place. I am anxious for my own bed, my friends in Santa Fe and the Tuesday night Blues Jam at El Farol, but I am going to miss Paris. I had a great walk-about this evening along the Seine and the little cream puff from Odette’s and the famous Berthillon ice cream cone on Ile Saint-Louis did not spoil the “Last Supper at Freddy’s. The Mushrooms from Erlinges, the asparagus, the razor clams, the fried chicken and the wine were special, but the attention I received from Quentin and Johnna was above and beyond expectations and I will miss them.

  3. Always the best time to leave is when you still love being there. BTW, where is Freddie’s, don’t know that Restaurant.
